As BİDEV and “ Cultural  Awareness Foundation” we have been preparing a new documentary which will set light to Basketball History in Türkiye. By interviewing important sports people who made valuable contributions to Turkish Basketball, we develop an important archive and documentary through their experiences and memories.

With the supports of Members of BİDEV Board of Trustees Cemal Noyan and Mehmet Altıoklar,  the documentary is directed by Ozan Torun, mounted by  Halil Özdemir and post-production is realized in İMAJ Studio.

The documentary was previewed by our trustee members at our General Assembly in November  2022 in Eskişehir and the post production is being finalized.

About  Cultural  Awareness Foundation:

The Foundation has been established in March 2003 by primarily academists ,business people, artists, archeologists, architectures and art historians whose common aspiration was to develop cultural awareness.

The aim of the Foundation is to promote, embrace and inspire the perception of Türkiye’s cultural diversity as a shared heritage of humanity. To this end the foundation carries out structured activities to pass on the cultural property to next generations in a truthful and reliable manner, to promote public awareness and responsiveness in this respect.
